stressed out news, mini-tour, records, etc.

yo everyone! here is what's up with us.

We're hitting the road for six days from December 29 to January 3. If you can help out with a D.I.Y. show and/or place to crash in the northeast, please send love to stressedoutnj[AT]gmail[DOT]com and we will send you a 7" and an erotic note. We're totally down for show trades when you come through NJ as well. None of these dates are booked, so we're flexible.

General areas we're looking for:

Tue Dec 29 2009 New York, New York
Wed Dec 30 2009 Hartford, Connecticut
Thur Dec 31 2009 Providence, Rhode Island
Fri Jan 1 2010 Boston, Massachusetts
Sat Jan 2 2010 Burlington, Vermont
Sun Jan 3 2010 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

we have a couple of split 7"s left that we did with our friends rip it up. grab one before they're gone. and check out rip it up, great nj skate-edge hardcore. if you would like one, let me know. if you'd like to distro this, also let me know.

we will be ordering new t-shirts very soon. i promise you they look sweet, because rob is a rad artist. if you would like our old shirt with the yellow v-neck guitar on it, let me know. $5 in person, a little more if shipped to you. i think we have three left, they're all medium and large.

we are currently writing songs that sound like slayer and d.r.i. metal for the punks! not exactly sure when we're recording next, but in the next few months fo'sure. let me know if you would be interested in putting out our next record, we're open to just about anything. split, 7", 12", 10" (weird!), etc.

check out our other bands. pete plays in dystrophy, a sweet death/thrash metal band. joe and tom play in burden, a great metal/hardcore punk band. i have a hardcore band in the works, and rob has a pop punk band in the works. look for them in 2010.

i think that's it for now. be rad, stay posi, and for fuck's sake stop believing in god, eating animals, and all that other dumb shit!

xoxo, richard nj / stressed
